Originally from a cornfield in Nebraska, now living in bustling Brooklyn, Anna-Laura Sullivan is a traditional artist and graphic novelist. Her work recognizes the magic in the mundane, offers reminders of cosmic notalgia, and celebrates presence. She has gathered an audience of over a million eager hearts on social media through pint-sized parables. For this watercolor comics project, she intentionally decided on a children’s book aesthetic to create a sense of relearning and gentle understanding.
Her work has been featured in New York Times and Forbes Magazine and was awarded the Top 10 Culture for Impact 2024 from the Museum of the United Nations
